With government systems failing, the Triffids—previously contained behind electrified barriers—now pose a lethal threat as they hunt for human prey. The protagonist, a blind survivor, entrusts their fate to the vision of a ten-year-old girl who unexpectedly finds herself central to this fight for survival.
